BBOSE stands for Bihar board of Open Schooling and examination. This is an autonomous body of Education Department of Bihar Government which was established in February 2011. Since that time it is setting a milestone in part of education for Bihar. It provides open and distance learning programs with the norms of National Institute of Open Schooling under the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
In the field of education, it has developed its own content and books and different format of class from class 1 to 12. Certificate delivered by BBOSE is equivalently valid as CBSE and ICSE or other board like examinations.
